Which one is from Germany?

Sometimes in discussions of race there are comments such as: “If you see a Swede you’ll be able to distinguish them from people who come from a different country.” So let’s put that sort of statement to the test. Look at the picture and let’s play “Spot the German!” To give you some help, “A.” was born and raised in Germany, and has lived there all his life. He is married and has one child. He works as a technician at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany. The other guy in the picture was born and raised in the USA. When this picture was taken he was visiting Germany and working in the same place as A.

Okay, the question is too easy. Obviously the real German is on the right; only an American would keep a pen in his shirt pocket like the guy on the left.
